Thermal Denaturation of Proteins Studied by UV Spectroscopy Natasa Poklar and Gorazd Vesnaver UV spectroscopy has been widely used for monitoring the unfolding of proteins. During temperature-induced denaturation the protein absorbance changes with temperature until the process of unfolding is completed.
